未来のたねへ　2016年

 

見上げるとリース状に配置されたさまざまな形。そしてロビーには色とりどりの旗。

「未来のたねへ」と名付けられたこの作品は、当館の「キッズコーナー 森のたね」の作者でもあるアーティスト・オーギカナエさんが制作しました。

旗状の作品に書かれたさまざまな言葉は、オーギさんがキッズコーナー利用者に「あなたの美術のたねを教えてください」

と質問したインタビューをもとに構成したものです。

子どもたちの美術のたねを育むキッズコーナー、そして過去の美術のたねについて語る本作品。

この両者を見ることで、皆さんが自らの美術体験と、子どもたちのこれからについて思いをはせていただければ幸いです。

Toward the Seed of Future 2016

 

When you look up, there are various shapes of wreath arrangement.  Moreover, there are colorful flags in the lobby. This work entitled,

“Toward the Seed of Future” is created by an artist Ohgi Kanae who produced the Kid’s Corner, “The Seed of Life” at our museum.

The various words written on the flag-shaped pieces constitute the replies of the interview conducted by Ohgi Kanae asking visitors,

“What is your seed of art?” The Kid’s Corner where nurtures the seed of art in children, and also this work touches upon the seed of art in the past.

It will be our greatest pleasure if you think of your art experience along with the children in the future while viewing them both.
